Clean Beaches Launched in 2004, the Clean Beaches awards aim to enhance the overall environment of bay and coastal beach communities. Award categories § Community Action § Beach Spirit § Pam Keating Environmental Innovation § Zero Waste § Protection of the Environment § Community Government Partnership § Young Leaders § Friendly Beach The Overall Clean Beaches award demonstrates the most holistic approach to all of the award categories. Clean Beaches is conducted along the Eastern seaboard and culminates in an annual national award for Australia’s Cleanest Beach. The Victorian overall winner represents Victoria in the national Keep Australia Clean Beaches awards.
