Celebrating 40 years of environmental education and community activism in Victoria.

Keep Australia Beautiful Victoria is one of the long standing success stories of the environmental movement in Australia.

Founded in 1968 by Dame Phyllis Frost AC, DBE, DSocSC (Hon), to make Australians aware of the damage careless littering causes to our environment and society, our initiatives have built on anti-litter and beautification campaigns such as “Do the Right Thing” to encompass the broader environmental and social sustainability issues such as wise waste, water and energy management, biodiversity conservation and community mobilisation and development initiatives.

Our established and respected awards and environmental programs continue to recognise and celebrate positive actions of individuals, groups, organisations, businesses and government that are helping to create sustainable communities across Victoria.
